Francis Ssuubi, founder of Wells of Hope Ministries in Uganda—a global changemaker whose work aligns powerfully with our shared mission of healing, dignity, and second chances.
Who Is Francis Ssuubi?
Francis Ssuubi is more than an advocate—he’s a pioneer. As the founder of Wells of Hope, Francis has dedicated his life to uplifting children of incarcerated parents and families affected by the criminal justice system in Uganda. In a country where resources are limited and stigma is strong, Francis has created schools, support systems, and hope where there was once only silence.
His work has inspired international recognition, but at the core, it’s deeply human: ensuring children of the incarcerated are seen, heard, and loved. Kayla victor Connecting 4 Justice International
Mr. Francis Ssuubi .He is the Founder and CEO of Wells of Hope Ministries. He is a Man of God, a pastor, and a man of many hats. For many years, he has provided shelter, education, classes, technology training, etc., to young children and teenagers in Kampala, Uganda, particularly those who are orphans and/or have incarcerated parents. He also ministers to people in prison and welcomes women, especially those who have returned home from prison, and he provides support to help them reenter society and get back on their feet. Also, for the children who age out of his program who want to go to technical training programs, nursing programs and/or colleges or universities, he tries to help out where he can with their exam fees, etc.
