International Coalition for Children with Incarcerated Parents – INCCIP
Worldwide, very many children have a parent who is incarcerated. INCCIP is dedicated to connecting committed organizations, institutions, individuals, and students to promote a more cohesive approach globally.

As the only global network of its kind, INCCIP includes groups and individuals who focus on the difficulties encountered by children with incarcerated parents, allowing them to share experiences, knowledge, research, and best practices.
INCCIP strives to elevate the voices of these children at multinational forums and meetings, and every two years, they organize an international conference that brings together participants to discuss and exchange experiences and best practices concerning issues related to these children.

These conferences are held in different countries around the world, with the inaugural event having taken place in March in Rotorua, New Zealand in 2017. Attendees usually include practitioners, academic researchers, human rights advocates, students,
policymakers, and organizations addressing issues pertinent to these children. In collaboration with others, Francis was instrumental in establishing INCCIP.
